VYB Swim Launches New Website

The founders of VYB Swim, Holly Swope, Holly Harshman, and Britt Kuhn re-launch brand with a new DTC e-commerce platform.

RAJ Swim has been manufacturing swimwear for national brands such as Athena, Splendid, Basta Surf, and Next. With over 55 years in the swimwear industry, the executive team decided to experiment in 2017, rethinking how they could tap into millennial sensibilities and allowed a group of millennial team members (all women) to build a new brand; VYB Swim.

VYB Swim (pronounced: \vibe\) is a sustainable concept collection using upcycled materials. VYB is curated by coastal babes with one thought in mind... designing a bikini for our every vibe. As the female mind goes, we wake up every morning anew - inspired and passionate about the woman we will be that day. One day, edgy; the next, romantic - and all that comes in between. Our unique collection is for those who discover and express their current mood.

The 2023 brand refresh and development was very exciting for the 3 founding members with a fresh take on where they wanted the line to go.

The new site reveals “The Sustainable Shop” for those interested in sustainable swimwear. The VYB Swim factory and warehouse in Tustin, California has in-house stock fabrics that have not been sold - referred to as deadstock. Those fabric rolls have never been worn, used or sold. Most are in original packaging and tags. Deadstock fabrics are used in VYB collections. Styles labeled with a black badge on the top right side are marked using deadstock fabrics. VYB Swim takes pride in upcycling fabrication. The founders took initiative to eliminate the need of producing more fabric, which in turn would create waste, using up more water and chemicals to treat and dye.

Shopping the collections are quick and easy. The new site will go live October 24th, 2022.

Enjoy!
